What is a tree risk assessment?
Risk is a combination of how likely a part is to fail, what it would hit, and how bad that would be. Written up properly, it is a document you can act on — or file. Tree Service Pros provides tree risk assessments across North Central Texas — free written estimates, insured crews, complete clean-up. Call (817) 508-9940.

What a risk assessment answers
Risk is not the same as defect. A hollow tree in the middle of a pasture is a defective tree with almost no risk; a smaller tree with one cracked limb over a child's bedroom is the reverse. A proper assessment weighs three things: how likely a part is to fail, what it would hit if it did, and how severe that would be.
The output is a document — findings, photographs, a risk rating and mitigation options ranked by what they cost. It is what an HOA board, an insurer or a lawyer needs, and it is what lets you make a decision about a tree instead of arguing about one.
No inspection makes a tree safe
An assessment describes a tree at a point in time under a stated set of conditions. Trees change, and a storm outside those conditions can fail a tree that was rated low risk last month. Anyone offering a guarantee that a tree will not fail is selling something that does not exist.

FAQ
Tree Risk Assessment — frequently asked
Can you work around my schedule?
Usually. Most residential work happens on weekdays during business hours, but we can often arrange early starts or a specific day if access, pets or gates require it. Commercial properties routinely get after-hours or weekend scheduling.
Do you serve areas outside North Texas?
Yes — our regular territory covers Tarrant, Johnson, Parker, Hill and Bosque Counties and the cities inside them. North Texas is on our normal route.
How soon can you get to my property in North Texas?
Estimates in North Texas are usually within a couple of business days. Scheduled work typically runs one to two weeks out depending on season — spring and post-storm periods are busiest. Hazard situations get moved to the front of the queue.
Will you damage my lawn or sprinkler system?
We plate or mat soft ground before anything heavy crosses it, and we ask you to flag sprinkler heads and low-voltage lighting, which do not show up on a utility locate. Some rutting is possible on saturated ground — if it happens, repairing it is on us.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?
We reschedule. Saturated ground means ruts and, more importantly, compromised anchor points and footing — nobody should be aloft in a tree in a North Texas thunderstorm. You get a call, not a no-show.
Are you licensed and insured to work in North Texas?
We carry general liability and workers' compensation, and we will send the certificate before you book — not after. Texas does not license tree services at state level, which is exactly why the insurance question matters: if an uninsured crew damages your property or injures someone on it, that lands on your homeowner's policy.
What payment methods do you take?
All standard forms — card, check, cash and bank transfer. On larger jobs a deposit is normal with the balance due on completion, after you have seen the finished work. We do not ask for payment in full before starting.
Do you offer discounts for multiple trees?
Effectively yes — the second tree on the same visit costs less than it would on its own because setup, travel and haul-off are already covered. If you have several trees needing attention, get them all quoted at once rather than one at a time.
